The Dialogue Office for Civil Society Cooperation (Dialogbüro Vienna) is seeking a program coordinator for the Belarus / Eastern Europe program (part time 70%, 28 hours/week) starting August 1, 2025, or as soon as possible. An increase of up to 100% can be agreed upon if additional responsibilities are taken on. The Dialogbüro Vienna is a non-profit organization, promoting democracy and human rights, sustainable development, anti-discrimination, as well as integration and peace with a focus on Eastern and Southeastern Europe. The organization understands itself as part of the green movement and is publicly funded.
Core task: The further development, planning, implementation, and reporting of the Dialogbüro Vienna’s program to strengthen democracy, sustainable development, and gender equality in Belarus in coordination with the Director/office management.
This includes:
- Designing a program of actions and measures to strengthen Belarusian civil society
- Defining and implementing current topics, objectives, projects, and measures related to Belarus and its European context, including logistics and financial management
- Organizing and supporting content and preparation of events, study tours, and advisory missions of the project partners in the EU
- Country-specific research and consulting on political and social developments, and identifying and developing advocacy topics and formats
- Initial review of funding applications and advising applicants
- Project-related contract drafting as well as budget planning and control
- Advising project partners on regulations concerning funding and organizational issues
- Writing and communicating reports on budget use to donors
- Public relations work on the above-mentioned program, including contributions to the website and social media, expert publications, interviews and public representation
- Participation in fundraising and the preparation of project proposals (including budget planning)
- Participation in teamwork and organisational development
- Responsibility for the implementation of the joint tasks of gender democracy and diversity in one's own work areas
- Increased involvement in the public relations work of the entire organization is desired. If the candidate is interested and is suitable, the employment contract can be extended to a maximum of 100% (40 hours/week).
You will bring:
- Comprehensive knowledge of the current political context in Belarus and the specific needs of exile communities
- Good knowledge and experience in working with civil society in Belarus and the Belarusian diaspora outside the country
- At least a bachelor's degree/university of applied sciences degree or equivalent qualification
- Very good knowledge of German or English, and Belarusian or Russian languages
- Effective communication skills and intercultural competence
- Cooperation skills, ability to work in a team, gender and diversity skills
- Knowledge and experience in public fund management
- Experience in and willingness to actively engage in public relations work
- Willingness to travel within Europe

- Employment contract until December 31, 2026 after a successful probationary period (3 months) with the possibility of extension
- Salary of EUR 4,000 gross (14 times per year) for full-time (40 hours/week), pro rata for part-time
