Beyond Abolition: Nuclear Justice, Peace and Inclusion
A roundtable dedicated to the humanitarian consequences of nuclear testing and disarmament. Curator: Älisher Khassengaliyev, Dialogbüro Vienna fellow, co-founder of Steppe Organization for Peace (STOP)
This collaborative event, co-hosted by Dialogbüro Vienna, STOP, and FES Kazakhstan, brings together community leaders from affected regions, practitioners, diplomats, and researchers to examine how the humanitarian obligations of the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons (TPNW) – particularly survivor assistance and environmental remediation under Articles 6 and 7 – can deliver tangible outcomes at the local level. With insights from affected regions, the discussion addresses practical instruments such as community access pathways, participatory decision-making, monitoring and redress, and the design of future financing mechanisms including a TPNW Trust Fund.

Festival of New Drama “Ljubimowka – Echo. Wien”
For the first time, Vienna will host the renowned contemporary playwriting festival “Ljubimowka – Echo”. Directors, actors, and actresses will present German-language readings of seven anti-war plays by Russian-language authors in forced exile, all written after 2022. A collaboration between “Ljubimowka” and Dialogbüro Vienna. The full programm will be available soon.
